Assembly Line Theatre Company Announces Staged Reading/Fundraiser
Assembly Line Theatre Company is pleased to kick of the New Year with a staged reading of the musical, The Seven Castaways by Sean Paraventi. It will take place on January 12 at the home of Comedysportz Detroit in Ferndale. The Seven Castaways is a full length, modern parody of an iconic sitcom! “I don’t want to give too much away, but it involves seven castaways stuck on an island. It’s raunchy and fun and t is NOT your parent’s Gilligan’s Island,” says Paraventi. The cast is loaded with local acting powerhouses including Allison Megroet, Andrea Konsoer, Dez Walker, Jason Bowen, Jeff Priscorn, Mitch Koory, and Sonja Marquis. The staged reading will be directed by Patrick Nelson Hanley. Shown in the photo is: Jeff Priskorn, Sonja Marques and Dez Walker.
The Assembly Line Theatre Company is gearing up towards its second full production, coming this fall. We are now officially a 501(c)(3) so we thought a fun fundraiser was the way to go. Tickets will be $12 at the door and beverages will be available for donations.
